We usually offer a "NewB" class through the Bicycle Club of Irvine 3 - 4 times a year - with a chance to explain legal & safer cycling as well as introducing folks to our club. We are not riding as a group now obviously, but a LOT of folks on stay-safe-at-home have gotten bikes out of storage, pumped up their tires and started getting out and about for fresh air & exercise. Lots of folks have gone out and bought bikes to get out with their kids... We won't lead a group ride, but if interested in joining in on a Zoom class meeting to learn more about what the rules of the road are when cycling... We have scheduled a Zoom on-line meeting & Bill Sellin, BCI Founder # BCI#2 will teach you some of what he has learned ! We will send the Zoom invite to everyone on Friday night by email just to ensure we don't get Zoom-bombed or overloaded with attendees. We have no other reason to collect your info, and we will not send you any marketing - if you like BCI you will come back to find us! BCI, in collaboration with OCW is hosting its annual Orange County Bicycle Rally. Join Bicycle CIub of Irvine, Orange County Wheelmen and other cyclists for rides followed by a 'box lunch' picnic by the creek to share our love of cycling in and around Irvine. BCI will provide an assortment of drinks for all riders. If you know non-members, you can sign them up as your guests or they can sign up by sending   There will be 5 road rides of varying length and difficulty with staggered starts so that all return for lunch.
